Woman Whose Home Was Destroyed in Anne Heche Car Crash Sends ‘Love’ to Star’s Family After Her Death


 Lynn Michele, whose rental home was destroyed  in a car accident with Anne Heche, who died last Friday, sent support to the actress's family following the news of her death.From the Creative Organization's business account on Friday. In a video posted, Michelle called the news "devastating" and offered her condolences to Heche's loved ones, and "especially her children." 

"[They] have suffered a really big loss and my heart goes out to them," she said in the clip.  

She concluded by saying, "Sending love to everyone involved with her." 

Her video came out a day after she posted another update on her Instagram talking about the crash and the support she received in the days that followed. "It was clearly the craziest, most traumatic, confusing time... Eventually [I'll] go back to everyone and try to read everyone's comments," she said in the video. Thank you  from the bottom of my heart. I am really overwhelmed. You  really made a huge impact on my life  so thank you.

Michelle was on the property of the Mar Vista home  owned by Jennifer Durand  when Heche drove home last Friday. He said of the incident: Michelle is devastated by what happened to her on her Friday - not only is she and her pet dying, but  all of her belongings, including all her items, have been lost.

Michelle's neighbor, Lynne Bernstein, previously told PEOPLE that she was "very pleased" that Michelle and her pet recovered from the accident unharmed. It "walked almost completely through" the house and ignited "almost instantly," it said. The Los Angeles Fire Department told PEOPLE that the accident caused "structural damage" and "serious fires" in the one-story home.  Durand also told PEOPLE that she first learned about the incident from Michelle. In that moment, I was  so relieved and grateful that she and her animals had survived... nothing could have prepared me for what the house would look like," she said. Later, Durand and her husband John launched a GoFundMe page to help Michelle cover many of her lost "loved places" and belongings. A rep for Heche showed the actress` loss of life to PEOPLE in a declaration Friday on behalf of her pals and family: “Today we misplaced a vibrant light, a type and maximum glad soul, a loving mother, and a faithful friend.”
